For another year, arcomed will attend the MEDICA 2018 fair in Düsseldorf (Germany) which will take place from 12 to 15 November 2018.

Medica 2018 is considered the most important trade fair in the world for medical devices and technology. As a leader in infusion technology, arcomed could not miss such an important date and will be attending at a stand.

MEDICA 2018 is much more than a fair, having become a leading event for the whole industry. As well as a full programme of conferences, there will also be 6 themed forums: Connected medicine (which includes an apps competition), laboratory technology, IT applications for medicine (with disruptive technology such as blockchain and big data), an economic forum on innovations in health management, a technical forum on EU regulations for medical devices, data protection and cybersecurity and a forum on consumables and commodities in health care.

At our stand we will be presenting a whole range of infusion solutions and technology developed by arcomed at our own R+D department. The Chroma arcomed infusion pumps will take centre stage in the space as the forefront of infusion technology, accompanied by other products such as the enteral nutrition pumps, Chroma arcomed pumps certified to use in hyperbaric chambers, the modular connecting base UniQueDOC, the UniQueMRIShield system that allows the use of infusion pumps next to magnetic resonance devices…

Also, our extensive catalogue of consumables will be there, made with DEHP-free materials and adapted to the different needs when administering an intravenous treatment or epidural, including syringes and opaque infusion systems for light-sensitive drugs.

At MEDICA 2018 arcomed will show the functionality, versatility and easy handling of our infusion pumps, as well as all the cutting-edge technology that they include (TCI, PIEB, PCA, relay modes, Bolus Tocolytic, drug library) including exclusive functions such as the Dyck pharmacokinetics models for dexmedetomidine and Cortínez-Sepúlveda for using propofol in obese patients.  All of this with a wireless, two-way connectivity, both between pumps and with the hospital’s PDMS system, managed through a large colour, high contrast touchscreen with an intuitive icon-based navigation system.

We hope to see you at MEDICA 2018, Hall 11, stand F40.
